The Paediatric Trigger Tool - Home Page

The Paediatric trigger tool (PTT) is a patient safety improvement tool, developed jointly by physicians and CAPHC.

The tool is available for download at no charge.

Workstation Prequisites

Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 3 or higher.
Adobe Flash plugin version 7 or higher.

Server Prequisites

The data repository for this application is MySQL v5 Communitty or Enterprise edition. The community edition is free of charge.

The application uses Apache Tomcat to server its content to the web browser community. Apache Tomcat is also free of charge.

Server hardware requirments are minimal: 2GB RAM, Pentium 4 or higher processor, 25GB free disk space.

Step 1) Allocate a Server

Step 2) Download and install Apache Tomcat

Step 3) Download and install MySql v5

Step 4) Download and install the PTT package. (Windows & Linux platforms are supported)
